To make Dal Makhani
1) Soak whole black urad dal 150 gms and Rajma 50 gms for 5 to 6 hrs , give 5 to 6 whistles in a pressure cooker and keep it aside.

2) In a Kadhai add 2 tbsp ghee and 1 tbsp oil , add some Hing(Asefoetida) , 1 tbsp ginger, 1 tbsp garlic, 1 green chilli , add 2 chopped onions and salt

3) Sautee till onions are golden brown

4) add 2 tsp Kardemome Dal Makhani masala, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp Amchur powder

5) add tomato purée of 4 tomatoes, cook well till oil separates

6) Add the boiled Dal n Rajma

7) add some coriander leaves and cook it on a low flame for 15 mins

8) garnish with Kasturi Methi and 3 tbsp fresh cream.

9) Serve hot with Jeera rice.
