Mumbai Pav Bhaji Recipe
To make Mumbai Pav Bhaji
1) Boil 3 potates and mash them
2) Boil ½ cup fresh green peas and mash them
3) Take 3-4 whole red Kashmiri chilies, 1 inch ginger , 5 garlic cloves, 1/4th tea spoon of Kardemome Garam Masala. Boil the above ingredients and grind to a smooth paste.
4) In a kadai, put 2 table spoon oil, 20 gms salted butter, ½ tea spoon shahi jeera cumin seeds, one medium chopped onion
5) Sautee for 2-3 minutes
6) Add red chilli paste as prepared in step 3
7) Add handful of chopped coriander
8) Sautee for a minute
9) Add one chopped capsicum and ½ cup mashed boiled peas
10) Cook for 2-3 minutes
11) Add 4 chopped tomatoes, add 2 table spoon of Kardemome pav Bhaji Masala, ½ tea spoon red Kashmiri chili powder and salt to taste.
12) Cook on high flame for few minutes till tomatoes are cooked and mushy.
13) Add the mashed potatoes
14) again add some more coriander leaves
15) Mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes until you get the desired texture,
16) Add 10-15 gms salted butter and some water for desired consistency.
17) Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
